DMACC–ISU Connect

Current high school seniors (those graduating in spring 2025) will only be admitted into the Connect program once they are registered in Fall 2025 DMACC classes.

Program benefits

DMACC-ISU Connect is Iowa State's Admissions Partnership Program (APP) specifically for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) students. The Connect program offers DMACC students planning to transfer to Iowa State many opportunities:

• Dedicated academic advisors at Iowa State to ensure the courses taken at DMACC transfer smoothly to your intended Iowa State major
• Build connections to Iowa State prior to transferring by getting your ISUCard early and setting up an ISU email account
• Additional perks by paying the optional Iowa State Student Activity Fee include participating in ISU intramurals, utilizing ISU workout facilities and gyms, joining ISU clubs and organizations (when eligible), and access to student ticket pricing for athletics and cultural events, etc.
• Opportunity to live in an Iowa State housing community (while enrolled at DMACC), pending availability and contracting deadline. More information for Connect students interested in living in ISU housing
• Access to Iowa State Career Services resources, career fairs, and connections with potential employers
• Stress-free process when ready to apply for admission to Iowa State
